Awakening

Well, time to bring you guys another update on the album. I spent most of the day today recording, and what you are about to hear is the product of my efforts.
This will be the second of 2 new metal tracks on the album (The first being Dream (Part Two)), and seems it will also be the first time I put Brass instruments to good use.
Give 'er a listen, let me know what you think!
There's still a lot of work to be done on this one, but hopefully I'll have it finished soon, and I'll be able to move on to the other 2 genres I have in mind for the album.
And again, just in case you forgot, the album will be titled "To The End Of The World", and you can secure a copy now by making a donation (Link is on the left side of the page under "Contact Info/Websites"). I actually really like the guitar work. Do you do all of the instrument work yourself, or do you use something like FL's piano roll?
For this song, I did all of the orchestral stuff/drums in MIDI inside Reaper (I.E. the DAW I use for recording/writing metal).
I do own a drum kit... but I'm nowhere near good enough to play the stuff that I write, and I don't own any orchestral instruments, so I'm forced to do those via keyboard/midi.... Guitar is all me though.

What about Monthly Best or Best of the Year (or Top 50 in the pre-redesign)?
I've gotten on the Monthly best once or twice, I've never been on the best of the year as far as I know. I think I had one track show up in the Top 50 pre-redesign at some point.

Have you ever hit frontpage with one of your songs before? You seem pretty under-rated for having only 319 fans (less than a 16 year old D&B producer that I know).
No, I've never gotten a song on the front page. I've had a few songs on the Weekly Top 5 before it disappeared though.

Good song, but I personally think the drums are a beat 'weak', you know. =3
I haven't done practically any mixing yet, I'll be doing most of that once I finish the rest of the song, I prefer to have everything in place before I start mixing. So I will make a note for later!
