omg its you!, can i have an autograph?! forget bands, just try to do a solo thing and get there your own way. Social networking sites are like wheres waldo.. there is definitely opportunity but the chance it might be you is low, get to know some of the musicians in your town, that's often one of the best things you can do, even if your not part of the band, you can still get recognized becasue you have friends who know your skill levels and might come to you for whatever reason and that can work for your favor

See though... there are no musicians around here, everyone here is more into stuff like cocaine and one night stands or getting drunk and waking up in cuba.
The few musicians that are here do it as a hobby by themselves.
In any case, I failed to mention in the post that I am planning on releasing one more CD (Yes, I had one before, but it kinda died), and ship that out to numerous people/places, put it up on iTunes, that sort of crap as a last ditch attempt to make at least an inch of progress more than I have the past 8 years.
See what that does for me, if nothing, I've got plans to fall back on.
That aside... from your first line, I'm not sure if that should mean something to me, or you're just being an ass like most of the people that end up stumbling upon my newsposts.
