In light of a few reviews I've been getting lately, I would like to clarify something people seem to be misunderstanding.
The guitars in my songs... Are real guitars, not VSTs or any kind of software instruments. I'm not sure why people seem to think they're not real... but just to drive the fact home, I'm going to include a picture of all my guitar gear. The only song I have ever done where a guitar wasn't real was my 28 days later cover, because I was too lazy to hook everything up after I got home from a jam...
Every other song on my page that has guitar in it, is done with real guitars. Also note, I am not including everything I use, just the gear I use frequently. And it may be hard to tell in the picture, but the Ibanez has a glitter blue finish, depending on how well the pic uploads, it may look black due to lack of light.
Guitars (From left to right): Ovation Celebrity (Electric acoustic, 6 string), Peavy Raptor (Electric, 6 string), Ibanez RG1527 Prestige (Electric, 7 string), Fender Precision Bass (Electric, 4 string)
Amp: Fender Frontman 25R
Pedals (Left to right): Digitech JamMan Stereo Loopstation, Line 6 POD X3 Live
Keyboards (Left to right): Alesis Micron synth, M-Audio Keystation 88es (88 key, half of the keyboard is cut out of the pic)

Nice, I have the same amp and Digitech Loop Pedal. 'cept mine isn't stereo :'(
Do you use the Frontman USB and the included software to record? I haven't had much luck with it.
Back-From-Purgatory
I don't use my amp at all when I record, I only really use it to practice. I record via USB from my Line 6 POD X3 Live and have my guitar routed through my PC speakers (BOSE) instead of my amp, makes recording easier when everything is playing back from the same source IMO.
