I do apologize to those that were getting settled in the old one, but I couldn't stand phpBB any longer, so I spent a good 11 hours today working on this new one, and I've already added MORE than I ever had on the last forum... because it's so much easier to do... well... anything.

So hopefully the new features (Like a shop... credits per post... youtube gallery... among much more) is enough for you guys to forgive me for trashing the other forum.

R.I.P. Grandpa...

So, it's been a while since I started up that little freebie forum, and when I did, I mentioned that I would be working on getting my own domain so that I can have full control over everything.

Well... that day has come, I have my own domain, the site itself is still a massive work in progress... so I'm not gonna bother whoring that out just yet, but the forum is operational (Also still a work in progress... but working), and I figure may as well start building up a roster now... that way I can get constant feedback on things.

So... Come on down, join up, and start chatting! And I'll keep working on it, adding new features, new ranks, visuals, etc. etc... And for those of you who had adopted my freebie forum, the layout is more or less the same as far as what's available, so should be a fairly easy transition.

So... I decided to try my hand at Bosa's "Dreams of Splendor" contest about a month ago... He went out of his way to send me an invite, so I figured why not. So, I spent the last month struggling against a really nasty case of writers block, and one day... like... 2 days ago... I was mucking around in FL Studio, being upset that I couldn't seem to come up with anything decent. I got fed up, closed down what I was working on, opened up Synthesia, and played one of my favorite songs to play on piano (Packaged... although I edited it a little bit to split up the hands and removed the vocal part).

I finished the song, and decided to give writing another shot, so I opened up FL Studio again, started mucking around on my keyboard, and in the span of about 5-6 hours, I had a nearly 4 min piano track practically finished.
On top of that... I really, really liked it... It had a nice melody, a good progression, and I jumped a lot of hurdles that I usually stumble over when writing longer songs.

So, I added some more stuff on top, drums, a pad, and a smooth lead synth, made a few tweaks here and there... and in about 12 hours total...

I'm pretty happy with it... been a while since I've felt this satisfied with a song I've written... I'd wager this will be up on my favorites with Them and Yin.

So yeah... give it a listen, leave a review, let me know what you think.

And as always... the song is totally open to interpretation... I love hearing different peoples interpretations of my stuff.

I heard you like youtube videos, so I put up a youtube video of music that's not actually a video, unless you count visualizers, in which case, maybe it is a video and I don't know what I'm talking about.

Whatever the case may be, it's on youtube, and it's a song I don't have on Newgrounds... more specifically, it's "Awakening" off Chapter 1 of my album "To The End Of The World" (Which you should go buy).

As an added note... I'm going to have a face in the maybe not so distant future... so... look forward to that.

Ok... so, recently, I've been given a few things to give away, firstly being 3 copies of DOTA 2 via Steam. First 3 people to ask for them gets them, also be sure to PM me your email address so I can send it to you.

For those that don't know, Crunchyroll is an official (and legal!) anime streaming website that puts out subbed episodes as fast as 1 hour after the anime airs in Japan land. I signed up for it recently because I was without a PC for a while, and needed my anime fix, seeing as there is a crunchyroll app on PS3.. I broke down and signed up, and I wasn't disappointed, it's been nothing but quality since I signed up. It doesn't have the greatest selection ever, but for the $7/month you pay (Assuming you only want anime, the site also has Japanese live action drama as well for some extra cash), it certainly gets the job done.

As the title implies... this newspost is about my upcoming album, "To The End Of The World".

First and foremost, I do have to mention, that I will now be releasing the album in 3 parts, and don't worry, if you've already donated, you'll still be getting all 3. This is mostly due to time constraints, writers block, and the fact that it's housing 3 different genres, so I figured, I may as well have 3 "Chapters". And once I finish all 3, I can compile them into 1 full length album.

That aside... I now have a release date for you guys.

When will Chapter 1 release?

Seemed like a fitting date considering the name of the album.

All 3 albums are themed in a different color:
Red - Metal
Blue - Trance/Electronic
Green - Orchestral/Classical
(Not necessarily being released in that order.... save Metal)

I will have download links for those people that have donated, and for those that haven't, the album will be made available with an online digital retailer (At the moment, I'm thinking bandcamp... Subject to change).
